Job Description
The Truck Driver will be responsible for collecting waste from commercial and residential clients, ensuring safe transport to disposal sites, and maintaining the vehicle in compliance with regulations. Duties include supervising loaders, completing delivery documentation, and performing routine vehicle inspections. The role demands reliability, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and customer service.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Minimum education: KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education)
- • Valid Kenyan driver’s licence for heavy vehicles
- • Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
- • Good communication and interpersonal skills
- • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions

- • Collect waste from assigned commercial and residential clients efficiently
- • Supervise loaders to ensure proper handling and loading of waste materials
- • Complete and submit delivery forms and related documentation promptly
- • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, including tires, fuel, and oil checks
- • Maintain fuel efficiency standards and ensure the truck complies with NTSA regulations
- • Secure tarpaulin covers and prevent over‑loading of the vehicle
- • Adhere to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times
- • Interact professionally with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction
