Job Description
The Ward Security Officer ensures the safety and security of the Ward Office by controlling access, monitoring premises and reporting incidents. Performs routine checks of doors, windows and fire hazards and supports the Ward Member’s personal assistant as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Kenyan citizen, adult and able to obtain security clearance.
- • Basic education
- higher qualifications are an advantage.
- • Prior experience in security or related field is preferred.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Prevent unauthorized removal of office property and ensure proper documentation.
- • Oversee overall security of the Ward Office premises.
- • Inspect windows, doors and entrances to confirm they are secured.
- • Control admittance of persons to the premises.
- • Check fire hazards and other safety matters regularly.
- • Report and document security incidents to the Ward Office Personal Assistant.
- • Perform any additional duties assigned by the Ward Member.
