Job Description
The Associate Field Manager leads a team of field officers in Kaloleni, ensuring high‑quality delivery of GiveDirectly programmes while maintaining strong community relationships. The role manages daily field operations, monitors data quality, and drives continuous improvements to achieve programme targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies or a related discipline
- • Minimum 3 years of experience managing teams in humanitarian or development settings
- • In‑depth knowledge of the Kaloleni community, customs and terrain
- • High integrity, empathy and alignment with GiveDirectly’s values
- • Proficiency with digital data tools and reporting platforms
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Execute the field work plan and adjust activities to improve operational efficiency
- • Conduct weekly debriefs with field officers to identify risks and opportunities
- • Coordinate daily field movements and oversee team logistics across target communities
- • Track weekly enrollment progress and promptly escalate challenges
- • Support pilot initiatives and provide feedback for programme refinement
- • Ensure accurate data collection, reporting and financial reconciliation
