Job Description
The Tour Host and Partnerships Officer will conduct guided studio sessions in multiple languages and build a network of referral partners within the hospitality sector. They will represent the studio to hotels, resorts, and tour operators, driving guest volume through strategic collaborations. The role combines presentation skills with partnership development to enhance the studio’s visibility.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in tourism, hospitality, arts, or a related field
- • Minimum 2 years of experience in tour guiding or partnership development
- • Strong communication and presentation abilities in English
- Italian language proficiency is a plus
- • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships and deliver high‑quality sessions
- • Knowledge of the local hospitality market in Kilifi and Malindi
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Deliver guided studio sessions in English and Italian for groups and individuals
- • Prepare and present collection information, including origin, material, and technique
- • Ensure sessions start on time and adhere to studio operating procedures
- • Identify and secure referral partnerships with hotels, resorts, villas, and tour operators
- • Maintain relationships with accredited guides and marine excursion providers
- • Track and report on guest volume generated through partnership channels
- • Coordinate with the marketing director on promotional activities
