Job Description
The Lecturer will develop and deliver civil engineering curricula for undergraduate and postgraduate programs, supervise research projects and mentor students. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, research proposal development and participation in departmental planning. A PhD in civil engineering and at least three years of teaching experience are required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • PhD (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- • Minimum three years of teaching and research experience at university level.
- • Proven ability to develop teaching materials and supervise graduate research.
- • Strong record of scholarly publications and conference participation.

Responsibilities
- • Plan, develop and evaluate curricula for the Civil Engineering department.
- • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses and assess student performance.
- • Supervise student research projects and guide thesis work.
- • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
- • Conduct research, write proposals and seek funding for projects.
- • Participate in departmental and faculty strategic planning.
- • Organise seminars, workshops and conferences related to civil engineering.
- • Contribute to administrative and consultancy activities within the university.
