Job Description
The Machine Operator will run the powder plant’s machinery, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and food safety requirements are consistently met.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field
- • Minimum 2 years of experience operating powder or dairy processing equipment
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Review daily production plans and assess material requirements with the Production In‑Charge
- • Execute production on assigned lines according to schedule
- • Attend production shift meetings and coordinate labor availability with supervisors
- • Monitor and report on production efficiency, consumption, waste and key metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed
- • Perform pre‑shift checks of machinery and report maintenance needs
- • Oversee packers and provide assistance during operations
- • Implement and uphold food safety standards, monitoring Critical Control Points (CCPs) and prerequisite programmes
