Job Description
The Head of Productive Use of Energy leads sales, community mobilisation and operational management of PUE solutions in Kenya. Responsibilities include acquiring customers, overseeing installations, ensuring after‑sales service and managing grant‑related activities to drive income‑generating outcomes for clients.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy or a related discipline
- • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the energy sector
- • Strong analytical and reporting skills
- • Ability to manage grants and monitor project performance
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Lead PUE sales and customer acquisition efforts
- • Coordinate community mobilisation and product‑demonstration campaigns
- • Build and maintain relationships with local authorities and community stakeholders
- • Oversee quality assurance of PUE installations and provide technical support
- • Ensure timely after‑sales service and rapid issue resolution
- • Manage customer documentation, contracts and compliance processes
- • Monitor field operations, enforce SOP compliance and identify operational risks
- • Produce performance reports and achieve sales and operational targets
