The Transport Co‑ordinator will organise and oversee patient and specimen transport services within Avenue Healthcare, ensuring timely and safe movement between facilities. Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or degree in Logistics, Transport Management or related field
- • Experience in coordinating transport services within a healthcare setting
- • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- • Excellent communication skills and customer‑service orientation
- • Knowledge of health‑safety regulations and patient confidentiality
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Schedule and coordinate patient transport requests across hospital departments
- • Manage vehicle fleet, maintenance schedules and driver rosters
- • Ensure compliance with health, safety and infection‑control standards
- • Liaise with clinical staff to prioritize urgent transport needs
- • Maintain accurate transport logs and reporting dashboards
- • Resolve transport‑related issues promptly to minimise delays
