Job Description
The Supply Chain Management Officer II will support the County Government of Kisumu by overseeing procurement activities, managing inventory and ensuring compliance with public procurement regulations. The role involves coordinating with vendors, preparing reports and contributing to efficient service delivery across county departments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Kenyan citizenship
- • Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain management or a comparable role
- • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field
- • Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software

- • Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes in accordance with public procurement guidelines
- • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure availability of essential goods
- • Coordinate with suppliers and service providers to secure timely deliveries
- • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
