Job Description
The Teacher of Mathematics and Physical Health Education delivers curriculum‑aligned instruction, assesses student learning and promotes physical well‑being for learners at Aga Khan Schools in Kisumu.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Mathematics, Physical Education or related field
- • Valid teaching licence for Kenya
- • Strong knowledge of Mathematics content and PHE pedagogy
- • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- • Commitment to student development and inclusive education
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Prepare and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons following the national curriculum
- • Teach Physical Health Education, including sports, fitness and health topics
- • Design and mark assessments, providing constructive feedback to students
- • Manage classroom environment and promote positive student behaviour
- • Participate in extracurricular activities and school development initiatives
