Job Description
The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing statements and supporting payroll for Hospitalita Ltd. Duties include journal entries, reconciliations and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The role contributes to the financial integrity of the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- • Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA preferred
- • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- • Strong analytical and attention‑to‑detail skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Record and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- • Process payroll and ensure statutory deductions are applied correctly
- • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- • Ensure compliance with Nigerian accounting standards and tax regulations
