Job Description
The Chief Financial Officer will oversee all financial functions of SmartCity Plc, including budgeting, reporting, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance. The CFO provides strategic financial guidance, leads the finance team, and supports investment and growth initiatives. This executive role reports directly to the CEO and Board.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
- • Minimum 10 years progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles
- • Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills

- • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives
- • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
- • Manage cash flow, treasury, and banking relationships
- • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance
- • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team
- • Support fundraising, investor relations, and M&A activities
