Job Description
The Senior Backend Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for M‑KOPA’s mobility platform, ensuring high performance, security, and seamless integration with payment and partner systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- • 5+ years of professional backend development experience
- • Strong proficiency in server‑side languages and frameworks
- • Experience with cloud platforms and containerisation
- • Knowledge of database design and API security best practices
Required Skills

- • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for mobility solutions
