Job Description
The Lodge Operations Manager oversees daily operations of a high‑end safari lodge in Laikipia, ensuring efficient financial performance and exceptional guest experiences. The role blends operational leadership with conservation objectives, coordinating all departments to maintain high service standards. Strong focus is placed on budgeting, stock control, health and safety compliance, and team development in a remote environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or equivalent
- • Proven experience in lodge or hospitality operations management
- • Strong guest‑relations and communication skills
- • Demonstrated financial management ability, including budgeting and reporting
- • Knowledge of health, safety, security, and risk‑management protocols
- • Ability to live and work effectively in a remote environment with flexibility and resilience
