Job Description
The Hydroblasting Technician will operate high‑pressure cleaning equipment to prepare surfaces according to project specifications while ensuring safety and equipment reliability. The role includes routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and fabrication of replacement parts as needed. The technician works independently and must maintain required certifications and documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- • Minimum 2 years experience operating and maintaining hydroblasting equipment
- • Ability to fabricate and repair replacement parts
- • Valid passport with at least one year of remaining validity for international travel
- • Completion of required manufacturer or industry training and certifications
- • Strong understanding of safety practices for high‑pressure equipment

Responsibilities
- • Operate hydroblasting equipment safely and effectively for cleaning and surface preparation
- • Perform hydroblasting activities in accordance with project specifications, procedures, and safety requirements
- • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment remains operational and reliable
- • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs as needed to restore functionality
- • Fabricate or manufacture replacement parts for hydroblasting equipment when required
- • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, inspections, and replacement parts
- • Complete required manufacturer or industry training and maintain applicable certifications
- • Follow all manufacturer guidelines, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
- • Identify potential equipment issues and implement solutions to minimize operational disruptions and delays
- • Work independently while maintaining a high standard of safety, quality, and equipment performance
- • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned consistent with the position’s level
