Job Description
The QSSK‑Driver provides safe and reliable transportation for staff, visitors and goods while maintaining the vehicle in optimal condition. The role also includes basic administrative support and strict adherence to road‑safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE C+) or equivalent college certificate
- • Minimum 3–5 years proven professional driving experience
- • Valid driver’s licence
- • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and time‑management abilities
- • Basic computer skills such as Excel
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Transport staff, visitors, documents and goods to designated locations promptly
- • Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the assigned vehicle
- • Conduct routine vehicle checks (oil, water, tire pressure, lights, etc.)
- • Ensure vehicle documents such as insurance, inspection and logbook are current
- • Record mileage and fuel consumption accurately in the logbook
- • Report mechanical problems or accidents to the supervisor immediately
- • Comply with all road‑safety rules and traffic regulations
- • Perform messenger duties and run office errands when not driving
- • Handle company property and information with confidentiality and care
- • Maintain punctuality and professional conduct at all times
