Job Description
The Clinical Officer provides comprehensive outpatient care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education and follow‑up, while performing minor procedures and ensuring accurate documentation and patient safety.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution
- • Registered and licensed by the Clinical Officers Council (COC) with a valid practicing license
- • Minimum 2–3 years relevant clinical experience, preferably in a healthcare facility
- • Ability to perform minor clinical procedures such as circumcision, wound dressing and suturing
- • Strong communication, interpersonal and patient‑care skills
