Job Description
The Finance Manager leads the finance department, overseeing revenue, cost, tax and treasury functions while ensuring accurate reporting, internal controls and statutory compliance. The role coordinates with auditors, suppliers and other departments to maintain financial integrity.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) and relevant professional certification
- • Minimum 8 years of finance or accounting experience, including team leadership
- • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
- • Strong understanding of internal controls, segregation of duties and compliance requirements
- • High integrity, confidentiality and ethical judgment
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Supervise, coach and performance‑manage the Revenue & AR, Cost & AP and Tax & Treasury accountants
- • Plan and allocate workload, set deadlines and monitor delivery
- • Run the monthly reporting cycle and ensure timely submission of management accounts
- • Maintain the departmental calendar for reporting, payments, filings and audits
- • Coordinate with auditors, suppliers and internal stakeholders on financial matters
- • Review and enforce internal controls, segregation of duties and authorization matrices
- • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management
