Job Description
The Branch Manager will drive deposit growth and expand the Sharia‑compliant financing portfolio while overseeing all daily operations of the Mombasa branch. Responsibilities include ensuring strict compliance with KYC, AML and Sharia guidelines, managing the branch P&L, and maintaining security of assets. The manager will also build strong relationships with local businesses and community leaders to achieve performance targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
- • Minimum 5 years experience in banking or micro‑finance operations
- • Strong knowledge of Sharia‑compliant financial products and regulatory requirements
- • Proven track record in achieving sales and deposit targets
- • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

- • Drive deposit mobilization and expand the Sharia‑compliant financing portfolio
- • Oversee daily branch operations, including vault management and teller services
- • Ensure 100 % compliance with KYC, AML and Sharia guidelines
- • Manage branch performance against KPIs such as growth, portfolio at risk and customer service
- • Foster relationships with local business owners and community leaders
- • Supervise staff, monitor P&L and safeguard physical assets of the branch
