Job Description
The CAPEX Projects Engineer will lead the planning, execution, and handover of capital projects within Louis Dreyfus Company’s bulk storage and terminal operations. Responsibilities include managing project lifecycles, overseeing procurement, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. The role works closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline (BA/BSc/HND)
- • MBA, MSc, or professional certification preferred
- • 5–8 years experience in bulk storage terminals, warehouses, or port operations
- • Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary project teams
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Initiate and deliver CAPEX projects up to $5 million annually, covering asset improvement, SHE, and maintenance
- • Ensure compliance with internal gate reviews and regulatory frameworks throughout project phases
- • Act as primary liaison between contractors, consultants, and internal teams during design, construction, and commissioning
- • Oversee project handover to Operations and Maintenance while tracking cost savings and ROI
- • Manage end‑to‑end procurement, including market research, supplier pre‑qualification, RFP/RFQ evaluation, and contract negotiations
- • Supervise procure‑to‑pay processes, material receipts, and claims management in partnership with Finance
