Job Description
The Customs Declaration Officer will prepare and submit customs documentation for imports and exports, ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating timely clearance. Responsibilities include liaising with customs authorities, verifying documentation, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires attention to detail and knowledge of customs procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field
- • At least 2 years’ experience in customs clearance or freight forwarding
- • Good knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs and procedures
- • Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities
- • Prepare and submit customs declaration forms for all shipments
- • Verify accuracy of commercial invoices, packing lists and supporting documents
- • Liaise with customs officials to resolve clearance issues
- • Ensure compliance with all import and export regulations
- • Maintain detailed records of declarations, clearances and related correspondence
- • Coordinate with logistics, freight forwarders and internal teams
