Job Description
The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting students, staff and visitors using the academy bus, while maintaining the vehicle’s condition and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Valid PSV certificate and Driver’s License (Class B, C, E)
- • Minimum 25 years of age and pass health, vision and hearing assessments
- • At least 3 years of experience driving a bus
- • Up‑to‑date knowledge of Kenya traffic laws and first‑aid certification
- • Strong defensive driving skills and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Operate the assigned bus and ensure punctual pick‑up and drop‑off of passengers
- • Supervise and chaperone passengers during journeys
- • Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
- • Keep the vehicle’s interior and exterior clean
- • Report any mechanical issues or required repairs promptly
- • Maintain accurate mileage and logbook records
- • Deliver goods, letters and equipment as required by academy management
- • Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the line manager
