Job Description
The Electrician will perform maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems in a commercial building, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs, utility monitoring, and rapid emergency response, while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Installation, or a related field.
- • 1–2 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
- • Experience in commercial building or facility maintenance (preferred).
- • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- • Reliable, responsible and safety‑conscious attitude.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Perform routine and preventive maintenance of building electrical systems.
- • Repair and replace electrical components as required.
- • Respond promptly to electrical faults and maintenance requests.
- • Ensure all electrical work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- • Monitor and report utility usage, assist with meter readings, and flag anomalies.
- • Provide emergency response for power failures, water leaks, or safety hazards and coordinate with emergency services.
