• arrow_right • Perform internal inspections of farms, production units, and collection centers in line with the ICS procedures and organic certification standards (USDA/NOP and EU 2018/848).
• arrow_right • Review and verify farm compliance with EU organic regulations, including production methods, field management, and harvesting practices.
• arrow_right • Carry out yield estimation and balance verification exercises, ensuring data accuracy.
• arrow_right • Ensure all documentation, including checklists and reports, is accurately completed and submitted on time to the ICS data clerk.
• arrow_right • Conduct internal inspections according to the client’s Grower Group Quality Manual and the annual work plan.
• arrow_right • Identify non‑compliance and provide guidance on corrective actions for assigned farmers.
• arrow_right • Accompany field officers during field visits and assist with monitoring and evaluation of farm activities.
• arrow_right • Work closely with field officers to educate farmers on organic and Fair‑Trade standards and practices.
• arrow_right • Support farmers in meeting the client’s coconut quality requirements by ensuring traceability at farm level.
• arrow_right • Provide on‑site guidance to farmers on organic input requirements, proper harvesting methods, and other farming activities.
• arrow_right • Train field officers, buying clerks, receiving clerks and other staff on the inspection process and compliance requirements.
• arrow_right • Participate in training sessions on organic farming regulations and the ICS processes.
• arrow_right • Keep up‑to‑date with changes in EU and USDA/NOP organic regulations and ensure compliance during inspections.
• arrow_right • Prepare detailed reports after each internal inspection, including observations, compliance status, and follow‑up actions.
• arrow_right • Maintain accurate records of farmer compliance status and update the Approved Farmers List (AFL).
• arrow_right • Assist with compiling data and reports for external inspections and certification bodies.
• arrow_right • Communicate inspection findings and compliance requirements to farmers and field officers.
• arrow_right • Convey updates and decisions from the ICS Approvals Committee to farmers promptly.
• arrow_right • Collaborate with the Sustainability and Compliance Manager to create and follow the annual work plan.
