Job Description
The Senior Associate Engineer ensures reliable operation of data‑centre infrastructure through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with service level agreements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- • 6 years experience in operations and maintenance of electrical/mechanical systems
- • Knowledge of data‑centre standards and safety regulations
- • Strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Perform preventive maintenance, testing and surveillance of all data‑centre assets
- • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment
- • Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks and contractor activities
- • Ensure compliance with SLAs and promptly address potential breaches
- • Implement energy‑efficiency measures and optimise operating costs
- • Manage incident response, emergency procedures and documentation
- • Supervise junior engineers and maintain accurate maintenance records
