Job Description
The Trade Development Representative will drive retailer awareness and sales of SIM and mobile‑money products across the Devki Cluster, managing agent recruitment, training and merchandising to achieve stock and sales targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- • Minimum 1 year experience in sales or distribution within FMCG or telecommunications
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- • Ability to train and mentor agents on processes and compliance
- • Knowledge of AML/KYC requirements and merchandising best practices
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Identify, recruit and map mobile‑money agents and high‑traffic retail outlets
- • Conduct regular visits to agents using agreed route plans
- • Provide business tools and train agents on transaction processes, AML and KYC compliance
- • Monitor stock levels and enforce the 1.5× stock rule for agents
- • Develop and maintain merchandising standards at agent outlets
- • Track sales performance and ensure agents meet activation targets
