Job Description
The Laboratory Technologist performs a range of medical tests, ensuring accurate results and adherence to quality standards for AdPath Laboratories. The role requires independent work, teamwork, and may involve histology analysis.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences (BA/BSc/HND or Diploma)
- • Valid KMLTTB licence
- • 2–5 years experience in medical laboratory testing
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- • Experience in histology is an added advantage
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Perform laboratory analyses and tests according to standard operating procedures
- • Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results and document findings
- • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
- • Follow safety and quality control protocols
- • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results
- • Manage specimen handling and processing
- • Provide technical support and training to junior staff
