Job Description
The Access Network Engineer will design and support xPON/FTTx broadband solutions, develop capacity plans, and lead technology roadmap initiatives. Responsibilities include creating technical designs, integrating OLT and BNG platforms, and coordinating network readiness across teams. The role requires strong technical leadership to ensure a resilient, scalable access network.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) or equivalent professional certificate

- • Develop and implement xPON/FTTx network capacity plans and forecasts
- • Design and engineer access network solutions, including technical designs, specifications, and BoQs
- • Collaborate with Systems and OSS/BSS teams to integrate OLT, BNG/BRAS, and ACS platforms
- • Maintain the technology roadmap, managing hardware/software upgrades and migrations
- • Plan OLT uplink capacity and coordinate network readiness with cross‑functional teams
