Job Description
The Accountant will maintain accurate financial records, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and produce periodic financial statements for the supermarket. They will ensure compliance with accounting standards and support month‑end closing activities. A bachelor's degree in accounting and 3‑5 years of relevant experience are required. The role is remote.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage.
- • Three to five years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

- • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare journal entries for all transactions.
- • Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and general ledger balances.
- • Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
- • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control policies.
- • Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
- • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
