Job Description
The accountant will support accurate and timely financial reporting for Jubilee Life Insurance under the IFRS 17 framework. Key duties include preparing statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with IFRS 17 standards, and assisting with month‑end close processes. The role contributes to the integrity of financial statements and supports the finance team in meeting reporting deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred
- • Knowledge of IFRS 17 and experience applying international accounting standards
- • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
