Job Description
The Accounts Payable Accountant will manage supplier invoices, perform three‑way matching, process payments and ensure compliance with tax regulations for an automotive client. The role supports month‑end closing and audit activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or Diploma in Accounting or related field
- • 3–5 years experience in accounts payable
- • Strong knowledge of three‑way matching, supplier reconciliations and payment controls
- • Experience with import costing, tax compliance and financial reporting
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Match purchase orders, goods received notes and supplier invoices before posting
- • Post verified invoices and resolve any discrepancies
- • Reconcile supplier accounts and maintain accurate ledgers
- • Prepare weekly aged payables reports and monthly payment schedules
- • Process supplier and utility payments within approved terms
- • Prepare import costings and maintain landed‑cost records
- • Ensure WHT/WHTVAT compliance and perform monthly iTax reconciliations
- • Support month‑end closing, audits and internal financial controls
