Job Description
The AI Specialist will design, build, and deploy scalable machine‑learning models that address client challenges across Farsight Africa’s platforms. Responsibilities span model development, data pipeline engineering, MLOps implementation, and cloud deployment, ensuring ethical and high‑impact AI solutions. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, 3–7 years of AI/ML experience, and expertise in data engineering and cloud technologies. The role is remote, allowing collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional certification).
- • 3–7 years of experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions.
- • Proven ability to build data pipelines and implement MLOps practices.
- • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, generative AI, NLP, and computer vision.
- • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
