The Air Logistics Perishable Operational Care Specialist ensures the smooth handling and documentation of perishable cargo shipments. They monitor airway bills, verify documentation accuracy, and coordinate timely handovers to maintain product integrity throughout the transport process.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Experience in air cargo logistics, preferably with perishable goods
- • Knowledge of airway bill procedures and documentation requirements
- • Strong organizational and communication skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Review and validate Master Air Way Bills for perishable shipments
- • Ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate before handover
- • Coordinate timely transfer of cargo to carriers according to schedule
- • Perform tallying and reconciliation of shipment documents
- • Communicate with freight forwarders and airline partners to resolve issues
- • Monitor compliance with handling standards for temperature‑sensitive goods
