Job Description
The AKI Agricultural Traineeship provides a 7‑9 month immersive experience on a German commercial farm, combining practical work in crop production, livestock and machinery with cultural exchange and language training. Trainees will live with host families and receive a stipend and full board.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in a Diploma programme at Bukura Agricultural College with at least 60 % weighted average
- • Age 18–34 years
- • Genuine interest in agriculture and willingness to live abroad
- • Basic knowledge of German (training provided)
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Perform hands‑on tasks in crop production, livestock care and farm machinery operation
- • Participate in sustainable farming practices and field trips
- • Attend seminars, cultural activities and German language classes
- • Contribute to farm business management and record‑keeping
- • Collaborate with host families and local mentors
