Job Description
The Area Coordinator will oversee operations at the KBL bonded warehouse, ensuring efficient handling of goods, compliance with customs regulations and smooth coordination with logistics partners. The role involves managing staff, maintaining accurate inventory records and driving continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Experience in warehouse or bonded‑warehouse management
- • Knowledge of customs procedures and import/export regulations
- • Strong organisational and leadership abilities
- • Relevant logistics or supply‑chain qualification is advantageous
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Supervise daily bonded‑warehouse activities, including receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
- • Ensure compliance with customs documentation and regulatory requirements
- • Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations
- • Lead and develop warehouse staff, scheduling shifts and monitoring performance
- • Coordinate with transport and logistics teams to optimise cargo flow
- • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
