Job Description
The Area Depot Product and Operations Manager is accountable for the financial performance and operational excellence of depot activities across the region. They lead product and operations teams, ensure safe and compliant site operations, and optimise utilisation and yard flow to drive profitability. The role also represents depot priorities in area leadership forums and drives transformation initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering or a related field
- • Proven experience managing depot, terminal or logistics operations
- • Demonstrated P&L management and commercial performance expertise
- • Strong knowledge of safety, compliance and productivity optimisation
- • Excellent financial analysis and data‑driven decision‑making skills
- • Effective stakeholder management and influencing abilities in a matrix environment
- • Track record of leading change, transformation and team alignment

Responsibilities
- • Own and drive the Area P&L for the depot, meeting financial targets
- • Lead product and operations execution across the area, aligning with strategic priorities
- • Ensure safe, compliant and efficient site operations throughout the depot footprint
- • Optimise depot utilisation, yard flow and operational performance to improve productivity
- • Manage costs, operating performance and resource utilisation to enhance profitability
- • Represent depot priorities in area leadership forums and align stakeholders
- • Lead transformation initiatives that improve depot performance and business outcomes
- • Monitor performance against agreed metrics and report progress
