Job Description
The Area Depot Product and Operations Manager oversees the depot’s financial performance and operational execution across the region. This role leads product and operations teams to ensure safe, compliant site activities while optimizing yard flow and utilization. It drives profitability through disciplined cost management and data‑driven performance analysis. The manager also represents depot priorities in area leadership forums and leads transformation initiatives to improve efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field
- • Proven experience in depot, terminal, logistics or shipping operations
- • Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and translate business targets into operational actions
- • Strong understanding of safe site operations, utilisation and productivity management
- • Excellent financial and analytical acumen with data‑driven decision‑making skills
- • Effective stakeholder management and influencing abilities in a matrix environment
- • Track record of leading change, transformation and embedding sustainable operational improvements
- • Leadership capability to align teams around performance, safety, service and financial outcomes
