Job Description
The Assistant Accountant supports Greenforest Foods’ finance function by handling daily accounting tasks, managing inventory records, and assisting with ledger maintenance. Working closely with the Finance Manager, the role ensures accurate financial reporting and effective inventory control. Proficiency with accounting software and strong numerical skills are vital.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- • Understanding of accounting principles and inventory costing
- • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Responsibilities
- • Process journal entries and post transactions to the general ledger
- • Reconcile inventory and other balance‑sheet accounts
- • Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing procedures
- • Prepare basic financial statements and reports
- • Support audit preparation and documentation
- • Maintain accurate records of factory inventory movements
