Job Description
The Assistant Chief Steward assists the chief steward in managing all stewarding activities across the hotel’s food‑and‑beverage operations. This includes supervising a team, ensuring strict hygiene and safety standards, and coordinating inventory of cleaning supplies. The role demands strong leadership, excellent communication and the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high‑volume kitchen environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Certificate or Diploma in Food and Beverage Production or a related field.
- • Minimum 3 years of experience in stewarding or a similar hospitality role.
- • Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation and food‑safety regulations.
- • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
