Job Description
The Assistant Sound Technician will support the production team by setting up, operating, and maintaining audio equipment for events and recordings. Responsibilities include configuring sound boards, managing microphones, and ensuring optimal audio quality throughout each project. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve technical issues with AV systems. Candidates must be highly organized and able to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Technology, or related field
- • At least 1 year experience in sound engineering or audio‑visual support
- • Proficient with mixing consoles, microphones, and signal routing
- • Strong problem‑solving and technical troubleshooting abilities
- • Excellent organizational and communication skills
