Job Description
The Associate Forward Deployed Engineer supports YO AI Labs by building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines and customer data workflows. Working remotely, the junior engineer collaborates with data scientists and product teams to implement scalable solutions and troubleshoot issues. The role requires a foundational engineering background and familiarity with data processing tools. Strong problem‑solving and communication skills are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related discipline
- • Demonstrated ability to work with data ingestion, ETL processes and APIs (e.g., Python, SQL)
- • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams

- • Design, develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines for customer datasets
- • Implement and optimise data transformation workflows in collaboration with data science teams
- • Provide technical support to customers during integration and deployment phases
- • Troubleshoot and resolve data‑related issues, ensuring data quality and reliability
- • Document processes, code and best‑practice guidelines for internal use
