Job Description
The Associate Manager, Demand Planning leads the end‑to‑end forecasting process for the East Africa cluster, delivering accurate demand plans that support inventory optimization and financial targets. They collaborate with commercial, supply‑chain, finance, and regional planning teams to align forecasts with business objectives. Continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and integrated business planning are key responsibilities. Strong analytical and communication skills are required to influence decisions across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND degree.
- • Minimum 3 years experience in demand planning, supply‑chain planning, or forecasting.
- • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets.
- • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- • Proactive, results‑oriented mindset with high attention to detail.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Own and manage the end‑to‑end demand planning and forecasting process for the East Africa cluster.
- • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a rolling 24‑month demand forecast at market, customer, and product levels.
- • Drive improvements in forecast accuracy through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration.
- • Facilitate Integrated Business Planning (IBP) sessions and provide visibility of demand trends.
- • Identify risks and opportunities, challenge assumptions, and align commercial plans with supply capabilities.
