Job Description
The Aveva E3D Expert will develop and coordinate electrical design deliverables for industrial projects, using Aveva E3D and related tools to produce 3‑D models and 2‑D drawings that meet industry standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant engineering discipline
- • Minimum ten years of experience in electrical design
- • Advanced proficiency with Aveva E3D for electrical modeling and coordination
- • High proficiency with AutoCAD, Navisworks and Microsoft Office
- • Strong familiarity with NFPA 70 and the National Electrical Code
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop electrical design deliverables for industrial and manufacturing facilities
- • Use Aveva E3D for 3‑D modeling, coordination, elevation cuts and drawing extraction
- • Prepare 2‑D electrical drawings in AutoCAD from E3D model extracts and project data
- • Design layouts for equipment, raceways, cable routing, lighting, grounding and control rooms
- • Review models with Navisworks to identify interferences and support interdisciplinary coordination
- • Apply NFPA 70 and National Electrical Code standards to all designs
- • Support drawing checks, incorporate redlines, conduct field walk‑downs and update as‑built documents
