The Avocado Manager leads the production and commercial activities of the avocado farm within AAA Growers‑Veg, ensuring high‑quality yields and efficient supply chain operations. Responsibilities include planning planting cycles, overseeing crop health, managing harvest schedules, and coordinating sales to meet market demand. The role requires strong agronomic knowledge and effective team leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, agronomy or related discipline
- • Minimum 4 years experience managing commercial vegetable or fruit farms, preferably avocado
- • Proven knowledge of sustainable farming practices and crop management
- • Strong leadership, planning, and problem‑solving abilities

- • Plan and schedule avocado planting, pruning, and harvesting cycles to optimize yield
- • Monitor crop health, implement pest and disease management, and oversee irrigation practices
- • Supervise farm staff, providing training and performance management
- • Manage inventory, post‑harvest handling, and quality control processes
- • Coordinate with the sales team to fulfill market orders and maintain customer relationships
- • Prepare production reports and budgets, ensuring cost‑effective operations
