Job Description
The Biomedical Engineer will maintain and troubleshoot IVF laboratory and operating‑theatre equipment to ensure optimal performance for fertility treatments. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, calibration, fault diagnosis and repair of specialized IVF devices. The engineer will work closely with clinical staff to support high‑quality patient care and adhere to regulatory standards. A minimum of five years’ hands‑on experience in IVF or fertility centre environments is required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline
- • Minimum 5 years experience maintaining IVF/fertility centre equipment
- • Strong knowledge of laboratory and operating‑theatre medical devices
- • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- • Commitment to regulatory compliance and patient safety
