Job Description
The Biomedical Engineering Consultant for the United Nations will ensure that biomedical equipment across multiple sites remains safe, functional and well‑maintained. The consultant will develop maintenance plans, oversee repairs and train local staff to sustain equipment performance throughout its lifecycle.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline
- • Minimum 5+ years of experience managing medical equipment in field settings
- • Knowledge of international health equipment standards and regulations
- • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
