Job Description
The Broker Support Officer provides technical and administrative assistance to the brokering team, handling market documentation, processing renewals, and maintaining client accounts to ensure regulatory compliance and high service standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Insurance from a recognized institution
- • Full professional qualification in Insurance (e.g., ACII or AIIK)
- • Minimum of 5 years experience in the insurance industry
- • Strong understanding of Kenyan insurance regulations and market practices
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Draft, proofread, and process market slips, cover notes, and policy endorsements
- • Conduct compliance checks on technical submissions and policy wording
- • Process final market closings, premium calculations, and sign‑offs
- • Track client renewals and prepare pre‑renewal documentation
- • Resolve routine queries by coordinating with client managers, claims, and underwriting teams
