Job Description
The Business Development and Grants Manager leads the effort to expand and diversify funding for Trócaire’s programmes, developing donor strategies and managing grant proposals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies or a related field
- • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, grant writing and donor relations
- • Strong analytical and reporting skills
- • Ability to work collaboratively with programme teams and senior management
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop and implement the country institutional funding strategy and annual action plan
- • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors for the Somalia programme
- • Maintain an up‑to‑date database of donor prospects and funding opportunities
- • Lead the preparation and submission of grant proposals to institutional donors
- • Coordinate with the Grants and Compliance Officer to ensure proper grant management
- • Monitor donor trends and align programme priorities with funding opportunities
- • Report on funding performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management
