Job Description
The Business Development Officer identifies and converts new opportunities with insurers, corporates and healthcare facilities to drive revenue for the hospital network. They build and manage partner relationships, coordinate follow‑ups and support agreements, MOUs and service level contracts. The officer also leads community outreach activities and conducts market research to inform strategic growth across Kenya and East Africa.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND degree or Diploma in a relevant field
- • Minimum 4 years experience in business development or partnership management within healthcare
- • Strong relationship‑management, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- • Good understanding of the Kenyan and East African healthcare landscape
- • Commercial awareness of healthcare costing, pricing and profitability
- • Analytical, research and reporting capabilities

Responsibilities
- • Identify and convert business opportunities with insurers, corporates and healthcare providers
- • Build and manage strategic partner relationships, coordinating follow‑ups and supporting agreements, MOUs and SLAs
- • Support branch development by locating local opportunities and strengthening referral networks
- • Plan and participate in community engagements, medical camps, health talks and exhibitions
- • Collaborate with BD, PR & Communications and Client Experience teams to align partner engagement and service promotion
- • Conduct market and competitor research to uncover healthcare trends and service demand in Kenya and East Africa
