Job Description
The Business Executive (Somali Speaking) will manage key accounts for Jumia, building relationships with brand and distributor leaders to drive sales growth. Responsibilities include developing strategic plans, acquiring new brands, and promoting advertising services across the portfolio.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
- • Proficiency in Somali and English languages
- • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with C‑level executives and account managers of top brands and distributors
- • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase sales and revenue in the assigned category
- • Acquire new high‑potential brands and large distributors to expand the product assortment
- • Promote Jumia’s advertising and visibility services to existing and prospective partners
- • Collaborate with marketing and commercial planning teams to design tailored promotional campaigns
- • Analyse sales performance and market data to identify growth opportunities
- • Monitor key account metrics such as sales, inventory, campaign results, and customer satisfaction
- • Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements and long‑term partnerships with key accounts
